John Moore

John Moore is an award winning interior designer whose career has spanned over 25 years of industry experience. John’s work has ranged from traditional interior design projects to the greater challenges of furniture design, space renovation, and custom yacht building.

A San Diego native, John’s life has been spent admiring the interplay between sun and sea. He may be the only interior designer who can say that some of his best ideas have come to him while surfing at dawn.

In addition to his interior design work, John is well known for his expertise with mosaic tile. He is responsible for having developed a custom back splash technique now used in kitchens and bathrooms. John founded Splash Furniture, a company specializing in original Italian glass tile furniture pieces for both indoor and outdoor use. His work has been seen on various television shows and in the news. His high profile clientele and design venues include David Copley, Santaluz Club and Spa in Rancho Santa Fe and the Sedona Restaurant in Las Vegas.

John has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles TimesWashington Post, and Coastal Living magazine.

Michelle Valenzuela

Michelle Valenzuela’s fascination with design began in Los Cabos, Mexico, where she was first exposed to the beauty that results when nature is combined with created structures. The theme of a harmonious relationship between users and the environment around them is a signature of her work. Whether the project is for space planning or a more expansive effort to completely redesign, Michelle’s work is a combination of creativity backed by meticulous research, design and precision. Using her deep understanding of both natural and man-made materials and products, she is always up for the challenge of helping clients make responsible choices in material selection, to create spaces that are sustainable while working within the framework of budget and client needs.

Michelle is a painter and illustrator, and a certified interior designer. She holds a Bachelor of Science from The Art Institute of California- San Diego.
